HARRY STYLES
English photographer Tim Walker is known for having entranced the readers of Vogue, month by month for over a decade, extravagant staging and romantic motifs characterise his unmistakable style. After solely concentrating on stills, Walker is now making moving film, where i got my inital interest in wanting to explore videography. I recently found deep interest with Walkers workafter being aware of who he was for some time now, i wanted to research his work because of its sheer scale and attention to creative detail, but more specifically i wanted to shed light on his most recent of works, Fine Line; the sophomore album of singer Harry Styles. The shoot pushes the idea of masculinity within fashion and ultimately erases the line between the two. Styles is already famously known for pushing boundaries when it comes to clothing, but this shoot pushes the ideology to new extents. A feature quite commonly featured within Walkers work is the fish eyed camera effect, an effect i find quite engaging when looking at his work, it adds an extra element to an already out there photo, its quite unnerving and i think its really effective in adding an unnatural twist to an image.
